A fire at the Liberty Motel this morning at 6801 N. Division was in mop-up phase when I arrived. The sun was just creeping over the roofline, which made  my lens flare like crazy. I tried to do everything to minimize it, but with this frame I  felt the rainbow flare  gave  the photo one more visual element to attract the viewer’s eye. This was the first photo I shot with my new Nikkor 24-120mm f/4 lens. It covers most of the focal lengths I use for most of my daily work and has built in vibration reduction for the slow shutter speed  shots. Nikon D700, Nikkor 24-120mm f/4
